  • In July, 45% of voters considered themselves Republican or leaned Republican, while 43% considered themselves Democrats or leaned Democrat.
    • That's little changed from a month ago when Republicans lead 45% to 42%.
    • When leaners are removed, the Republican advantage gains a point-- 38% to 34%
  • Republicans have held a party edge every month from last November through July, except during the month of April, when tariffs were announced.
