Thirty-seven percent (37%) of voters say that Republicans are more likely to win control of the House of Representatives after the midterms. Half (50%) of voters say Democrats are more likely to control it. The numbers for the Senate are nearly identical: 38% say the GOP will control it, while 49% say Democrats will.

As Scott Rasmussen discussed in a recent morning briefing, Democrats are heavily favored to win the House, while the Senate is still a tossup.
Nearly 8-in-10 Republicans (77%) say that the GOP will win the house. In contrast, 85% of Democrats believe the left will control the House after November 3rd. Half (51%) of Independent voters say they are not sure who will win control, though among the rest, they favor Democrats by a 36% to 13% margin.
Among those with a postgraduate degree, just 18% believe the GOP will control the House, while 2 thirds (67%) say it will be the Democrats. Among all other voters, 40% say Republicans will control the House, and 46% say it will be Democrats.
Again, breakdowns for the Senate are similar.
Currently, Scott's Scoreboard has the current House count at 227 D to 201 R (7 tossups) if the polls are correct, and the Senate at 49 D to 46 R with 5 tossups.
