A PBS article from February of 2024 said the term "Christian nationalism" had been in the news "quite a bit recently," and asked, "what does it really mean?"

In March of that year, we asked voters if they could define the term, and got a variety of responses. Just 4% of all voters consider themselves Christian nationalists, and there is even less agreement on what the term means.

 

 

 

 

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, March 13-14, 2024. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
