Just 3% of voters both know that the State of the Union address is happening next week and say they will definitely watch.
This is much lower compared to the last presidential debate in September, when 26% both knew when the debate was and that they would definitely watch. The lack of interest may be a result of the non-stop action of President Trump since his inauguration. With so much activity, there is nothing special about the State of the Union.
Overall, 65% of voters say they will likely watch next week.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen February 24-25, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
