McKinney, TX, January 13, 2025 - The Napolitan Institute released a report Monday highlighting levels of resistance among the Elite One Percent and Federal Government Managers to the new Trump administration. The report, titled "The Resistance", reveals the stark difference between voters and those who run the country.
The study found that while voters and members of the Elite One Percent are willing to give the new Trump administration a chance, Federal Government Managers are much more likely to resist. Showcasing just what the new administration is up against, of those managers who voted for Harris, just 1% said they would at least Somewhat Support the Trump Administration. Only 17% said they would follow a direct order from President Trump.
The Elite One Percent project originally stemmed from observations made by Scott Rasmussen, President of RMG Research, Inc. and founder of the Napolitan Institute. Of this new report Rasmussen said, "The American people made their choice in November, and now it is the responsibility of those who work for the federal government to represent the people whose consent is required for their work."
This study summarizes results from a survey of 1,000 members of the Elite One Percent and a companion survey of 500 Federal Government Managers. To highlight the disconnect between elite attitudes and everyday Americans, the same questions were asked of 1,000 Registered Voters.
