A Napolitan News national survey found that just 19% of voters know what DOGE is. This is another case where political elites use terms that are unknown to the vast majority of Americans. This failure to use language voters understand is one major reason that voters have so little trust in our system of politics and government.

When told that "DOGE is the name of a new Department of Government Efficiency proposed by President-elect Trump and to be led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy," 49% favor its creation.

Additionally, 51% say it will likely lead to significant reductions in spending by the federal government.
