Amid speculation that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) will run for president in 2028, the latest Napolitan News survey found that just over a third of voters (34%) have a favorable opinion of her. Thirty-nine percent (39%) have an unfavorable view of the congresswoman, while 28% have either never heard of her or don't know enough to have an opinion.

Among voters with a postgraduate degree, 54% have a favorable opinion of AOC. Among all other voters, a plurality have an unfavorable opinion of the progressive spokesperson. Among those with a bachelor's degree, 32% have a favorable opinion compared to 46% unfavorable. As for those without a college degree, 36% have an unfavorable opinion, and another 36% don't know her.

 


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen March 26-27, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
