  • When it comes to current laws and police actions, 39% say that U.S. laws and police actions are neutral and have no religious bias.
    • One quarter (26%) say the laws and police actions have a pro-religious bias.
    • Twenty-two percent (22%) say they have an anti-religious bias.
    • One fifth (20%) of Republicans and 34% of Democrats believe the current laws and police actions have a pro-religious bias.
    • Among Elite and Elite Adjecent voters*, 39% say the current laws and police actions have a pro-religious bias.
    • At least 33% of Evangelical and Bible-believing Christians see an anti-religious bias in U.S. laws and police actions, but only 11% of Catholics have the same view.

* Elite Voters are defined as those with a postgraduate degree, make more than $150,000 annually, and live in a densely populated urban area. Elite Adjacent Voters have at least one of these characteristics. Main Street voters have none of these characteristics, and make up the largest portion of voters.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 1, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
