  • Forty-two percent (42%) of voters say that anti-Israel protests are a form of domestic terrorism, while 47% disagree.
    • A majority (53%) of Republicans say anti-Israel protests deserve that label, while compared to just 34% of Democrats
    • Postgraduates are among the staunchest defenders of the protests, with 64% saying they do NOT constitute terrorism, while 45% of voters without a postgraduate degree agree.
    • Elite and Elite Adjacent voters* say such a protest is NOT terrorism by a 61% to 31% margin.
    • Main Street Voters are split: 45% say it should be called domestic terrorism, and 41% say it should not be.
  • Large majorities said that all other acts listed below should be considered domestic terrorism.



*Elite Voters are defined as those with a postgraduate degree, make more than $150,000 annually, and live in a densely populated urban area. Elite Adjacent Voters have at least one of these characteristics. Main Street voters have none of these characteristics, and make up the largest portion of voters.

The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 08-09, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
