  • Forty-two percent (42%) of voters say domestic terrorism is a Very Serious problem in the United States.
    • Just 3% say it is Not At All Serious.
    • Another 41% of voters say it is a Somewhat Serious problem.
    • Republicans are more concerned than Democrats, with 47% saying it is a Very Serious problem.
    • A plurality of Democrats (39%) still consider it a Very Serious problem.
  • Meanwhile, 73% of voters say domestic terrorism has become a bigger problem in the last few years.
    • Just 12% say it has become a smaller problem.
    • These totals include 30% who say it is a Much Bigger problem, while 3% say it is a Much Smaller problem.
    • Both parties overwhelmingly agree that domestic terrorism has become a bigger problem in the last few years.
  • Finally, 32% say both parties each commit about the same amount of domestic terrorism.
    • Another 26% say Conservatives commit most domestic terrorism, and 32% say Liberals do.
    • A majority (58%) of Republicans blame Liberals, while a plurality (45%) of Democrats blame Conservatives.

 


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 08-09, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1
