Forty-six percent (46%) of voters agree with FBI director Kash Patel's statement that recent attacks on Tesla vehicles and dealerships are "domestic terrorism." Thirty-nine percent (39%) disagree.

These totals include 67% of Republicans who agree with that description. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Democrats disagree.

While it's always difficult to see violence and property attacks, 19% of voters think the attacks on Tesla and Tesla vehicles could be justified. This includes 29% of Democrats and 11% of Republicans.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen March 26-27, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
