47% Believe Illegal Immigration Will Go Up Under Harris

10/07/2024

Forty-seven percent (47%) believe illegal immigration will go up if Kamala Harris is elected president. That's essentially unchanged from the 48% who held that view before her visit to the border.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) believe it will go down if Donald Trump is reelected. That perception is also little changed.

Just 38% approve of Harris' handling of the border situation, up two points from the beginning of September.

This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on September 30, 2024. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
