  • Voters rate Veterans Day as one of the nation's most important holidays. A Napolitan News Survey found that 51% hold that sentiment.
    • The only holidays that are more highly rated are Christmas (58%) and July 4th (52%).
    • Not surprisingly, among those who served in the military, 55% call Veterans Day one of the nation's most important holidays, while just 12% consider it among the least important.
    • More Republicans (58%) than Democrats (43%) say the holiday is one of the most important.
  • Four in 10 voters (41%) plan to do something special to celebrate Veterans Day, including 70% of those who are U.S. veterans.
    • Half (49%) of Republicans and 31% of Democrats plan to celebrate by doing something special.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, November 5-6, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
