54% of Government Managers have an Unfavorable Opinion of Marco Rubio

01/17/2025

Fifty-four percent (54%) of Federal Government Managers have an unfavorable opinion of Marco Rubio. A Napolitan News survey found that 42% of those managers have a favorable opinion of the nominee for Secretary of State. Those numbers are slightly less negative than the Federal Government Managers views of Attorney General Nominee Pam Bondi.

Despite Government Managers disdain, Rubio appears likely to be confirmed with bipartisan support.

Among members of the Elite One Percent, 47% have a favorable opinion of Rubio, while just 26% have an unfavorable view.

The voting public is evenly divided: 39% favorable and 39% unfavorable.

Unlike Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi, Rubio is fairly well known among voters with just 22% never heard of him or not sure of their opinion of him.

A Napolitan Institute report released earlier this week measured levels of resistance among the Elite 1% and Federal Government Managers. It showed that Federal Government Managers are evenly divided as to whether they will support or resist the incoming Trump Administration.

This Napolitan Institute survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen December 12-13, 2024. The survey of 1,000 Elites took place December 9-19, 2024, and the survey of 500 Government Managers took place December 9-23, 2024. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
