Recent calls from conservatives in Washington, DC to abolish the TSA have a long way to go to convince voters. Fifty-four percent (54%) say that the TSA is better than private security when it comes to air travel. Just 20% say that private security is preferable.
Among those who would be affected the most, the gap is even larger. Those who fly at least 3 times a year prefer the TSA by a 67% to 20% margin.
