  • Most (56%) voters think it is unlikely that cryptocurrency will replace the U.S. dollar as the primary financial currency over the next generation.
    • Just a third (33%) of voters think it is likely.
  • Just 24% have personally ever invested in cryptocurrency, including 30% of Republicans and 21% of Democrats.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen July 21-22, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
