When told Erika Kirk's comments and President Trump's comments from Charlie Kirk's memorial, 58% side with Erika Kirk and say that forgiveness is the more appropriate attitude regarding Charlie Kirk's killer.
- One out of five (21%) disagree and said Donald Trump's comments were more appropriate. He remarked that he hated his opponents and did not want what is best for them.
Still, just 40% say it is possible to truly forgive someone who has murdered a loved one.
- One in three (34%) say it is not, while 26% are not sure.
Fifty-four percent (54%) of voters know that Erika Kirk has forgiven her husband's killer.
- Sixteen percent (16%) say she did not forgive the assassin.
