  • By a 2-to-1 margin (59% to 30%), voters say that there are more people who pay taxes, than who do not pay any, in America.
  • A plurality (46%) say that government benefits are worth the costs and regulations, up from 39% three years ago.
  • When recent news reports have talked about a $1.7 trillion reduction in government spending, 47% of voters recognize that is really just a slowing of the growth of spending.
