Fifty-nine percent (59%) of voters favor President Trump's executive order removing funding from any school that teaches children they can choose their genders. A Napolitan News survey found that 37% are opposed.
If a school administrator defies the order, 52% of voters think that official should be fired while 37% disagree. Just 35% favor teaching that children can decide their own gender, regardless of their biological attributes.
There is broad support (85%) for teaching in public schools that America was founded on the ideals of freedom, equality, and self-governance.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen February 5-6, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
