  • The FBI and the U.S. military will be revising standards so that men and women will be required to meet the same physical fitness standards to serve.
    • Six in 10 voters (59%) agree that the same standards should be required for men and women, and 28% disagree.
    • More men (68%) than women (52%) say that both genders should meet the same physical standards.
    • More Republicans (70%) than Democrats (48%) say the physical standards should be the same.
  • Sixty-two percent (62%) of voters say that it's likely that lower standards would end up endangering both the women on duty and those with whom they work.
    • Twenty-eight percent (28%) say it's Very Likely.
    • Only one quarter (26%) say it's not likely that women would be in danger if standards were lower for women.
    • More men (67%) than women (57%) say people would be endangered if the standards were lower.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 15-16, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
