  • Sixty-three percent (63%) of registered voters say that Americans are less fit and healthy than they were a generation ago.
    • A third (29%) say Americans are more fit and healthy.
    • About 6 in 10 Republicans (60%) and Democrats (63%) agree that Americans are less fit and healthy.
    • Postgraduates think more highly of Americans' fitness and health with 45% saying that Americans are more fit and healthy today.
  • Regarding President Trump's executive order that reestablished the Presidential Physical Fitness test for school-aged children, 72% of voters say that is good for America.
    • And 37% of those voters say it is Very good.
    • Some (11%) think a fitness test for children is bad for America.
    • And 10% say it is neither good nor bad.
    • Most (90%) of Republicans say a fitness test for children is good, but only 54% of Democrats agree.
    • Only 3% of Republicans say the fitness test is bad, and 19% of Democrats agree that it's bad.
    • More than half (55%) of black voters say a fitness test for children is good, but 22% say it is bad.
  • Half (50%) of voters say the standards should not be the same for boys and girls.
    • Forty percent (40%) say the standards should be the same.
    • More Democrats (45%) than Republicans (39%) say the standards should be the same.
    • But 44% of Democrats and 55% of Republicans say the standards should not be the same.
    • A majority (69%) of Hispanic voters say the standards should be the same.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 15-16, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
