Seventy-six percent (76%) of voters favor President Trump's executive order to make English the official language of the United States. Just 21% are opposed. Support for the order comes from 96% of Republicans and 52% of Democrats.
Sixty-one percent (61%) of voters believe when immigrants move to the United States it is most important for them to adapt to American culture. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say it is more important to preserve the cultures of their home countries.
The Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters nationwide was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen March 6, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
