  • Seventy-seven percent (77%) of voters say it is likely politicians will use AI to harm their opponents.
    • That includes 43% who say it is very likely.
  • Seventy-six percent (76%) say it is likely that individual citizens will use AI to harm each other or attack people they don't like.
    • This includes 34% who say it is very likely.
  • Voters who haven't used AI are more likely to say there is a high likelihood of abuse in both cases.
  • On both questions, Democrats are more likely than Republicans to suspect abuse, by double digit margins.
  • These numbers are indicative of attitudes about politicians and people, not necessarily AI itself.
