  • Seventy-eight percent (78%) of voters believe people have natural rights that cannot be taken away by any government.
    • Just 15% disagree and say individual rights and freedoms come from the government.
  • In addition, 85% of voters say people are "endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights..."
    • Only 8% disagree with this principle in our June 2025 poll of 1,000 Registered Voters.
  • Tim Kaine recently brought this issue to national attention at a nomination hearing.
