  • For all the divisions in our country today, Americans can agree on our country's founding ideals.
    • Currently, 84% say it is fair to say America was founded on the ideals of Freedom, Equality, and Self-Governance.
    • That number has been over 80% since 2023, and 70% or above since 2022.
  • Other attitudes are also largely unchanged over the years.
    • Fifty-nine percent (59%) say that, of those three ideals, Freedom is the most important.
    • A third (32%) say Equality, while just 5% say Self-Governance.
    • Just 5% say Self-governance.
  • Likewise, 63% believe that there is a conflict between Freedom and Equality.
    • When asked to pick which is more important, 62% say Freedom.
