  • Just over three quarters (77%) of voters are aware of the ongoing renovations to the East Wing of the White House.
    • These numbers include 73% of Republicans and 83% of Democrats.
  • Just over half (51%) oppose the idea, while 43% support it.
    • This includes 22% who Strongly Support the idea, while 37% Strongly Oppose it. 
    • Seventy-three percent (73%) of Republicans support the idea, compared to just 18% of Democrats.
  • However, when informed the project is being funded by private donations from individuals and corporations, a plurality (49%) support the renovations.
    • Forty-five percent (45%) are opposed. 
    • These numbers include 25% who Strongly Support the idea, while 34% Strongly Oppose it.
  • Unaware of who was financing the project, those who were not aware of the renovations were opposed by a 44% to 41% margin.
    • Aware that tax dollars are not being used, this group now supports it by a 55% to 39% margin.

 

 


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 29-30, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
