Treasury Secretary Scott Bassent's recent comments about fired federal employees filling anticipated new factory jobs has many wondering if it is that simple.

Fifty-four percent (54%) of voters believe that government workers have skills that translate to working in the private sector. Seventeen percent (17%) disagree, while 29% are not sure.

Surprisingly, only 50% of current government workers believe they have the necessary skills to work in the private sector. Twenty-eight percent (28%) of them disagree.
