Vice President J.D. Vance saw his favorables rise 3 points in a recent Napolitan News survey. Currently, 48% of voters view Vance favorably while 44% do not. Eighty-one percent (81%) of Republicans have a favorable view of vance, while 74% of Democrats have an unfavorable.

House Majority Leader Mike Johnson also gained 3 points with voters this month, and 37% of voters now view him favorably, while 29% do not. The number who have an unfavorable view of Johnson is down 6 points, creating a somewhat deceptive 9-point swing in Johnson's favor this month. While his unfavorable rating went down, the number who haven't heard of him or don't know enough to have an opinion climbed upwards to 34%. Six-in-10 Republicans (62%) view Johnson favorably, while about 6-in-10 Democrats (59%) view him unfavorably.

Views of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries hardly budged this month. Thirty-two percent (32%) view Jeffries favorably, identical to July, while 33% view him unfavorably. That is down a single point from July. Similar to House Leader Mike Johnson, about a third (35%) of voters either haven't heard of Jeffries or don't know enough to have an opinion.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune was viewed slightly better by voters in August than July; 26% view him favorably, up 4 points from July. Thune's favorable numbers have been steadily increasing since April, when just 17% of voters viewed him favorably. Meanwhile, 28% view him unfavorably, down 2 points. Thune is not as well known as Johnson: nearly half (47%) either haven't heard of him or don't know enough to have an opinion, including 40% of Republican voters.

Finally, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is viewed favorably by 36% of voters, up 4 points from last month. In contrast, 39% view him unfavorably, down 4 points. The long-time Senator is more well known than Thune. Still, 25% either haven't heard of him or don't know enough to have an opinion. Like Thune, he has seen his favorables steadily increase since April. At that time, 27% viewed Schumer favorably, and 47% viewed him unfavorably.
