  • In May, 45% of Registered Voters considered themselves Republicans or leaned Republican while 44% considered themselves Democrats or leaned Democrat.
  • When leaners are not included in the totals, Republicans' advantage increases: 38% of voters consider themselves Republicans and 34% say they are Democrats.

 


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 9,300 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen during the month of May. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 1.02.
