Reasons Why 40% of Democrats Think Harris Was the Legitimate Winner

11/19/2024

Nineteen percent (19%) of voters think Harris was the legitimate winner of the 2024 election. A Napolitan News survey found that total includes 40% of Democrats and just 3% of Republicans. We asked those who thought Harris was the legitimate winner why they thought that, and here are some of the responses:

"I can't believe the majority of people in the United States voted for a liar and a convicted felon."

"The numbers don't make sense, Trump has been claiming interference for years until he wins."

"I don't trust that Russia didn't interfere with our election"

"There were many forms of illegal campaign finance violations and the bomb threats that were called in to nearly all of the battleground states interfered with the election process and kept people from going to the polls out of fear that they would be injured or lose their lives. The reason I say this is that somehow 10 million less people voted in 2024 than in 2020. This makes no sense when there was 4 million new registered voters added to the electorate since 2020. Voter intimidation and lies were the things that got Donald Trump elected."

"She won fair and square but Trumps money bought the election."

"Donald Trump won in states where the governor was of a different party (such as NC).  Donald Trump is a felon, and it is wrong for him to serve as president."

"There is no way The Convicted Felon could win ALL the swing states. And, since we know Russia and China have wanted The Convicted Felon back in office, and we know they were interfering in the election (again), we know that The Convicted Felon didn't legitimately win."

"it is very difficult for me to believe the majority of people voted for a criminal to be president"

"Because of all the press coverage and donations she received"

"We don't really know who won this race was rigged"

This is the third election in a row where a solid number of the losing party did not believe that the legitimate winner won the White House. Sentiments such as these are dangerous to our election process as they continue to fan the narrative that votes don't matter, ultimately relaying that the voice of the people does not matter.
