  • Almost one quarter (23%) of registered voters said they or one of their relatives or close friends got married this year.
    • This number is identical to what voters said last December 2024.
    • More 18- to 34-year-old voters (45%) got married or know someone close to them who got married in 2025.
    • Fewer older voters said the same with 9% of 55- to 64-year-old voters and 11% of 65+ voters saying so.
  • Twenty-eight percent (28%) of voters said they or someone close to them had children this past year.
    • This number is down 4 points from last year.
    • A plurality (42%) of younger voters (ages 18 to 34) had children or know someone who had children this year.
    • Similarly, 44% of people with children already at home said the same.
  • Sadly, 42% say relatives or close friends died this past year.
    • Nearly half (46%) of those who rated 2025 as Poor also lost a relative or close friend.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, December 20, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
