Just 19% of voters say are following news about the new pope Very Closely. A Napolitan News national survey found that this total includes 27% of Catholic voters. 

Only 8% of voters expect a big impact on their daily life from the new pope. Forty-two percent (42%) say he will not influence their daily lives at all.

Among Catholics, 11% say he will influence their daily lives a lot, and 21% say not at all.
