  • Forty-one (41%) believe that AI is at least Somewhat Good for America.
    • This is down 7 points from July 2025 but up 6 from June 2023.
    • Two in 5 (40%) believe AI is Somewhat Bad/Very Bad, up 12 points from July and up 6 from June 2023.
    • Younger voters (ages 18-34) are the most optimistic on AI, with 57% believing it is good for America.
  • Voters are however united in feeling that AI will take jobs done by American workers.
    • Seventy-seven (77%) feel concerned that AI will take jobs, up 7% from last July and up 9% from June 2023.
    • Only 22% are Not Very or Not at All concerned.
    • Forty-nine percent (49%) believe that, over the long term, AI will not create more jobs than it eliminates.
      • Those not sure (24%) of AI's effect on the job market are only slightly less common than those who believe AI will create more jobs (27%).


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, December 17-18, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
