In a survey of 800 registered voters in Wisconsin, Napolitan News Service found that the vacillating swing state is much more unified in its disapproval of Elon Musk (net -21), and the emphasis it places on the abortion debate.

Forty-eight percent (48%) of voters say Brad Schimel's ties to Musk and the president were the primary reason they did not vote for him in the recent record setting supreme court battle. Another 24% cited Schimel's stance on abortion as the top reason for their negative vote.

Abortion was the top issue for voters, with 60% citing it as very important.

The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 800 Registered Voters in Wisconsin conducted online by Scott Rasmussen April 8-14, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.5.
