  • This week, 28% of registered voters rate the economy as Good or Excellent, up 3 points from 2 weeks ago and the same as a month ago.
    • Forty-one percent (41%) rate the economy as Poor, down 1 point from 2 weeks ago and down 3 points from a month ago.
    • Forty-five percent (45%) of Republicans say the economy is Good or Excellent, up 9 points from 2 weeks ago.
    • One in 5 (21%) of Republican voters say the economy is Poor. This is down 6 points from 2 weeks ago.
    • Democratic voters' views are extremely pessimistic: only 13% say the economy is Good or Excellent, while 60% say it is Poor.
  • Only 22% of voters say the economy is getting better, down 1 point from 2 weeks ago.
    • A solid majority (59%) say the economy is getting worse, up 2 points from 2 weeks ago.
    • Forty percent (40%) of Republicans say it is getting better, and 34% say it is getting worse.
    • Much more pessimistic, 84% of Democrats say the economy is getting worse, and just 6% say it is getting better.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, June 8-9, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
