  • Seventy-four percent (74%) of voters say that being a father is the most important role a man can play in his lifetime.
  • Eighty-seven percent (87%) say that it is important to be raised in a household with both the mother and father present.
  • Only 38% recognize that children raised without their father present are more likely to spend time in jail, and just 47% know that they are more likely to live in poverty.
