Thirty-nine percent (39%) of voters favor cutting federal funding for PBS and NPR. A Napolitan News survey found that 49% disagree and are opposed to spending cuts.

Pluralities of voters say that PBS (36%) and NPR (35%) are biased against Donald Trump and the Republicans. A smaller number say that PBS (29%) and NPR (26%) are politically neutral. Only a few say that PBS (9%) and NPR (10%) are biased in favor of Donald Trump and Republicans.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen May 20-21, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
