  • Forty-three percent (43%) of voters say they are better off today than they were four years ago.
    • That's down from 45% in May, but up from 37% just before the election.
  • Just 27% say their incomes have kept up with inflation over the past year.
    • This is down from 32% in May and the lowest we've seen since October of 2024.
  • Fifty-six percent (56%) say that inflation is primarily due to the policies and rhetoric of the president. That's the highest level we've seen since we first asked the question 15 months ago.
    • Just a third (34%) say it is primarily due to factors beyond the president's control.
