  • Half of voters (50%) say they can set aside money for savings, while 46% say all their money goes to living expenses.
    • Both those numbers are down 2 points from 2 weeks ago after holding steady for the whole month of October.
    • In April, just 43% said they could set aside money, while it hit a peak of 53% in September.
  • Forty-seven percent (47%) of voters say they would need to cut back on their lifestyle to make a surprise expense of $1,000.
    • This is the same as 2 weeks and a month ago, but up 2 points from 6 weeks ago.
    • In late July, a high of 51% said they would have to cut back.
    • Meanwhile, 49% said they could make the surprise payment without cutting back, up 1 point from two weeks ago and down 1 point from a month ago.
  • Half (51%) of voters say they paid off their credit cards in full.
    • Heading in a positive direction, this is up 4 points from the 47% seen 2 weeks ago and up 2 points from a month ago.
    • Forty-one percent (41%) say they had to make partial payments.
    • More Elite and Elite Adjacent voters* (67%) than Main Street voters* (43%) say they paid off their credit cards in full.
* Elite Voters are defined as those with a postgraduate degree, make more than $150,000 annually, and live in a densely populated urban area. Elite Adjacent Voters have at least one of these characteristics. Main Street voters have none of these characteristics, and make up the largest portion of voters.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, November 17-18, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
