  • Half of voters (52%) say they can set aside money for savings, up 5 points from 2 weeks ago.
    • The number claiming all their money goes to living expenses (44%) is down 5 points from 2 weeks ago.
    • In April, just 43% said they could set aside money, while it hit a peak of 53% in September.
  • The number of voters saying they would need to cut back on their lifestyle to make a surprise expense of $1,000 is steady at 45%.
    • That is the same number seen in our last survey, but down from 51% in late July.
  • The number of voters fully paying off their credit cards rose 4 points to 53%.
    • This number had remained within 2 points of 50% since mid July until this poll's high of 53%.
