Sixty-two percent (62%) of voters believe that parents have too little control over their children's education. A Napolitan Institute survey found that only 17% think parents have too much control.
The story is different when it comes to members of the Elite One Percent and Federal Government Managers. Among the Elites, 39% think that parents have too much control over their children's educations. Only 26% agree with voters and think they have too little control.
The disconnect is even larger among Elites who are Politically Active- 50% of these voters believe parents have too much control, while 17% say too little.
The views of Federal Government Managers are closer to the Elite One Percent than they are to voters. Among these government managers, 46% think parents have too much control over their children's education.
Data on the Elite One Percent and Federal Government Managers was taken from the Napolitan Institute's Elite One Percent survey of 1,000 members of the Elite One Percent and 500 Government Managers. For additional information, please visit theeliteonepercent.org
