    • Most Democrats (61%) favor a bailout while most Republicans (52%) are opposed.
  • On a larger scale, 47% of registered voters think the federal government should bail out states that cannot pay their bills.
    • Over one third (36%) of voters think states should be allowed to go bankrupt.
