A Napolitan News survey found that just a third of voters (34%) nationwide are aware that a ban on TikTok is scheduled to take place within a week. Even among those who use the platform daily, just 49% know the scheduled ban is imminent.
Overall, 44% favor the ban and 37% oppose it.
Voters are evenly divided as to whether the company will likely be sold to a US buyer and allowed to keep operating: 39% say it's likely, 40% unlikely.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen January 15-16, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
