  • Thirty percent (30%) of registered voters rate the economy as excellent or good, while 31% rate it as poor.
    • As is expected with the party who controls the White House, 50% of Republicans say the economy is Excellent or Good, and only 13% say Poor.
    • Democrat's views are inverted: just 13% say the economy is excellent or good, while 47% say it is Poor.
  • Thirty-three percent (33%) of voters say the economy is getting better, while 48% say it is getting worse.
    • Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Republicans say it is getting better.
    • Only 10% of Democrats say the economy is getting better, while 72% of Democrats say it is getting worse.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen September 8-9, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
