Voters are hoping that the incoming Trump Administration will be a return to common sense around gender identity issues. In the 2024 election, Republican candidates aggressively campaigned against allowing biological males to compete in women's sports. While Progressive Democrats have painted this as an issue all Democrats should champion, just 13% of voters favor allowing boys to compete in girls sports.
Just 18% of voters think it should be legal to provide children under 18 with puberty blockers, drugs, and/or surgery to help them transition from one gender to another. Seventy-two percent (72%) take the opposite view and say it should be against the law.
Just 19% think lessons about exploring or changing gender identity should be taught in public schools, and only 5% think such topics should be taught to children in 3rd grade or younger.
