  • Thirty-two percent (32%) of registered voters rate the economy as Excellent or Good, while 30% rate it as Poor.
    • As is expected with the party who controls the White House, 50% of Republicans say the economy is Excellent or Good, and only 14% say Poor.
    • Democrat's views are not as optimistic: just 21% say the economy is Excellent or Good, while 48% say it is Poor.
  • Thirty percent (30%) of voters say the economy is getting better, while 44% say it is getting worse.
    • Fifty-four percent (54%) of Republicans say it is getting better.
    • Only 13% of Democrats say the economy is getting better, while 66% of Democrats say it is getting worse.
*Elite voters have post graduate degrees, live in the most densely populated urban areas, and make more than $150,000 a year. Elite Adjacent voters have at least one, but not all three, of these attributes. Main Street voters have none of these three.

The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, September 23-24, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
