  • Voters continually rate the 3 most important issues as Economy, Healthcare, and Inflation.
  • On the Economy (voters' top issue), Republicans continue to lose ground as the party voters trust.
    • On the Economy overall, 38% of voters trust the Republican party more than Democrats, and 36% trust Democrats more.
    • This small, 2-point Republican advantage on the Economy is down from a 5-point advantage a month ago, and down from a 10 point advantage when Trump took office.
  • On Healthcare, Democrats have the advantage by a 46% to 29% margin.
    • Democrats have consistently led voters' trust on Healthcare with margins. This month's 17-point difference is the highest on Healthcare this year.
    • Healthcare has become more important to voters as the extension of the Affordable Care Act subsidies are drawing to a close.
  • On Inflation, more voters trust the Republican party by a 37% to 33% margin.
    • This is a 4-point advantage, down 3 points from last month but the same as the previous two months.
    • Voters have been less optimistic about their personal finances, and this sentiment contributes to their feelings about inflation.
