Fifty-one percent (51%) of voters support arresting a state or local government official who helps an illegal immigrant avoid arrest and deportation. A Napolitan News Survey also found that (24%) disagree and believe such an official should not be arrested.

The arrest and suspension of Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan has prompted a firestorm on this topic. Judge Dugan is accused of obstructing immigration officials.

In March, a Napolitan News Survey found that a plurality of American voters say judges have not gone far enough in blocking the president's orders.
