Forty-four percent (44%) of voters would vote for a progressive Democrat over a MAGA Republican, while 41% would choose the MAGA Republican.
However, this shifts dramatically when the topic of deportation is considered.
Forty-nine percent (49%) of voters would vote for a MAGA Republican who supported President Trump's deportation policy, and 40% would vote for the progressive Democrat who opposed such deportations.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen January 28-29, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
