  • Perceptions of the job market continue to improve.
    • A Napolitan News survey found that 31% of voters believe businesses are more likely to be hiring, up two points from a month ago and four from April.
    • At the same time, 25% believe businesses are more likely to be laying off workers. This is down three points from a month ago and five from April.
  • Half (49%) of voters say it is a good time to be looking for a job. Thirty-eight percent (38%) disagree.
  • Sixty-three percent say it is at least somewhat difficult at present to find a job, while 26% say it is not.
    • That number has changed little since April.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen June 30-July 1, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
